The death has occurred of Chief (Mrs) Florence Olufunke Oyinsan, wife of Akure, Ondo state-born Media Executive and Community leader, Chief Sanya Oyinsan.
One of her sons, an Akure based broadcaster, Mr Tope Oyinsan confirmed the passing of their Matriach on Monday, October 6, 2025 during a brief illness.
She was aged 73yrs.
Until her death, Chief (Mrs) Oyinsan was a devout Christian and a committed member of the Anglican communion, St David’s Cathedral Ijomu Akure.
The family in a statement says burial arrangement will be announced later.
