Wike extols Tinubu’s Virtues, says He is a good leader

Date:

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said that good leadership should not be judged by political party membership but by the development leaders bring to the people.
In a video shared by TVC News, Wike made this statement during the commissioning of a road project in Ika Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, where he praised Governor Umo Eno for the progress he has made within just two years in office. According to him, if the governor has been able to achieve so much in two years, then Akwa Ibom people can expect even greater transformation in the next four to eight years.
The minister explained that he was not in Akwa Ibom for politics, but to support development. He reminded the people that although President Bola Tinubu is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), he still found a member of another political party worthy to serve as the FCT Minister. Wike said this shows that President Tinubu values competence and results over party loyalty.
Highlighting the changes in the FCT since he took office, Wike added that what really matters is performance and service to the people.
In his words, “When people say which party do you belong to, I’ll say which party is doing the roads in FCT? We’re talking about the administration that’s doing well for Nigerians.”
