My good people of Osun State,
I strongly believe that true development begins at the grassroots, which is why, under my leadership, local governments will be empowered to drive our rural economy and deliver real progress to our people.
We will restore the dignity and capacity of our local councils so they can:
Lead our agricultural transformation
Build a vibrant dairy and agro-processing economy
Promote sports, culture, and youth creativity
Strengthen our traditional institutions as partners in community development
Our Kabiyesis and traditional institutions will not be left behind.
We will mobilise them as key partners—because they are the custodians of our values, our people, and our land.
This is not just policy;
It is a people-first mobilisation strategy.
We will equip our local governments with the autonomy, funding, and structure they need to truly serve the people—so that development reaches every farm, every youth, every market, and every household.
Together, we will unleash the power of our communities to create jobs, grow wealth, and build a stronger, united Osun State.
