Ondo State Government has commenced the process of revitalizing industrial zones to boost trade and investment in the State.
Speaking during the 2025 Traders Summit at International Trade Fair in Lagos, the Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Cooperative Services, Pastor Adebola Ademuwagun
emphasized that Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa-led Administration was determined to support industrializiation by implementing policies favourable to business.
Ademuwagun noted that critical challenges such as energy shortage, infrastructural deficit and regulations hurdles were being addressed to create more conducive environment for industrial growth.
The Commissioner stressed the importance of translating policy into tangible results by unlocking financing for micro, small and medium enterprise (MSMEs) and thereby revitalizing industrial cluster.
He acknowledged the significant contributions of traders to the economic growth and their important roles as MSMES operators.
He described the present administration’s economic blueprint as the one that would make Sunshine State a hub for lndustrial growth, trade, innovation and cooperative enterprises.
Some important personalities present at the summit included Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Senator John Owan Enor; the President of Lagos State Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Gabriel ldahosa ; Vice President Mrs Folasade Kaosarat -Bada and others.
