Just Before Magistrate Temitope Alphonso withdrew her case against me in the court on 20th February, 2026, she had invited me into an office just beside the court room for a chat and in her words. “madam, ejeki Orin Ope po menu yin, emadupe pe bi Ota se fe kori, kori be fun yin, (Madam, let songs of gratitude fill your mouth that the enemies plan did not come to reality over you). For five minutes, I stood in shock and bewildertment at a woman who earlier few weeks back had sworn to deal with me but now sitting beside me in smiles advising me to keep serving God and to keep praising HIM. I thanked her and we further discussed areas that we can collaborate further on child protection matters. One thing that however struck me through it all was, what if their plan (In their time of anger) had gone through the first day I was summoned to court , where would I be today?
The past two months has tried me, i have lost the motivation to think, to act or do anything. What comes to my mind was how a simple verbal altercation on the safety of a vulnerable child could be weaponized into a full fledged perceived war of ego between the executives and legislature or manipulated to be a disrespect to Judiciary or it’s arms. Between December 31st to January 4th, 2026, I watched helplessly on how I was abused, malligned, judged, vilified and Social medial tried on an issue most clearly do not have an objective understanding of.
For the past two months, I have been at my lowest in recent time, faced creativity black out, mental log off, social connectivity cut off. I had in over a thousand times repeated the scene that happened in our Office on 24th December, 2025 at The Ministry of Women Affairs In the Presence of Notable and Prominent Ondo State Women, three of whom I met physically for the first time that day including Magistrate Temitope Alphonso.
Let it be Noted that I have never been to court in my life or had any court case in my entire life, The case in question does not concern me neither was I officially briefed by The Permanent Secretary. On the said day, I heard noises in the perm sec office and I went there to intervene calling on Hon Yinka Alabi (Chairman waste Management Board) who had come to visit me, that day day being her birthday ) to join me to the PS office to intervene. On getting there, we met Five women
1. Mrs Tola Gbadamosi (Nawoj President)
2. Dr Lola Bayode(Dorian Home) (who I met for the first time that day)
3. Magistrate Temitope Alphonso(who I met for the first time that day)
4. Another woman who accompanied Dr Lola there (who I met that day for the first time too)
5. Mrs Oluseyi Odusola (Permanent Secretary of the ministry of women affairs and the Wife of the Chief Judge who I later got to know had invited all of them to her office to settle the issues between them.
It was their noises that attracted me and Hon Yinka Alabi to the PS office and upon enquiry what led to the noise we realized was the custody of a vulnerable child and it was at the center of the issue After listening to all parties. Hon Yinka and I disagreed with the home the child was being taken to by the Magistrate and I expressed it. She otherwise felt she can’t be questioned on her decision and this led to verbal exchange of words between us and nothing more only to be slammed a court summon four days later and before I knew it, It escalated into situations beyond my control but Thank God for God Almighty Who favours the righteous when it doesn’t look like it, Thank God for My Principal, The Governor I worked with who despite everyone blaming me choose to trust me and stand up for me
If not for God and the Governor, Hnmmmm, I don’t know what would have happened.

As I begin a Renewed chapter of service, having learned from the past, To read the room and act accordingly, Not all situations deserves the truth being said.
To cap it all, I want to sincerely THANK EVERYONE WHO STOOD UP FOR ME, PRAYED FOR Me , SPOKE OUT FOR ME WHILE THE INCIDENT LASTED, MAY YOU ALL NEVER ENTER THE TRAP OF YOUR ENEMIES, AMEN .
TO those of you still spreading lies or chose to believe lies that I assaulted a magistrate (I saw a recent comment), Nothing like that ever happened , May God Almighty forgive you all, Please always remember that a woman’s reputation is her lifeline, when you deliberately spread gossips and falsehood against an innocent person, you are deliberately damaging the person, not everyone survives such damage.
Today, I chose to write about it because I have finally healed from the trauma of the incident and the attendant media trial. I consider it as an hazard on the job and I thank My Governor, Our Ease Governor, His Excellency Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his discernment and leadership.
May the wisdom of God never depart from you your excellency sir. Amen.
