Zamfara Govt Approves Early Payment Of March Salaries Ahead Eid-el-Fitr

Date:

Zamfara State Government has approved the early payment of March salaries to all civil servants and pensioners across the state ahead of the forthcoming Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The measure is aimed at easing financial pressure on workers and retirees and enabling them to make adequate preparations for the Sallah festivities.

In a statement on Monday signed by the state Commissioner for Information and Culture, Muhammad Dantawasa, the government said, “Necessary arrangements have been concluded to ensure the prompt payment of salaries and pensions to all beneficiaries across the state.”

Governor Dauda Lawal reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare of civil servants and pensioners and assured that “his government will continue to prioritise policies that improve the well-being of workers and retirees.”

The governor further urged civil servants and pensioners to support government policies, noting, “We call on all civil servants and pensioners to continue supporting government policies and to pray for peace, unity, and sustained development in Zamfara State.”

Concluding the announcement, the government extended festive greetings, saying, “The Zamfara State Government wishes all civil servants, pensioners, and the good people of the state a peaceful and joyous Eid-el-Fitr celebration.”

Meanwhile, Kano and Kogi state governments, among others, had also approved early payment of salaries to civil servants ahead of the Eid festivities.
